I would like to remind you all that this exists: “Twin Falls” by Built to Spill.

It’s probably a musical crime that I don’t know more about this band firsthand. I heard the Ben Folds Five cover version off of Naked Baby Photos and sought out the original. A chorus-free song, it’s simple and sad. It’s from 1994, but seems timeless to me.
